In the heart of a secret village there was a chocolate factory. The workers were weird clothing and their name’s were Emily, Tess and Matt. There were huge machines with buttons on them inside the factory. “No No No. The huge machine is broken down. Then BOOM, BOOM, BOOM the buttons just jumped out of the buttons machine. “Oh no! Now where do we get more chocolate to sell.’’ “Oh great Emily you found the phone.” Matt said to us. So Tess called a fix it shop company. So we got some people to help us fix the machines. They did a great job. We all screamed, “GREAT because we can make more chocolate to sell.”
Kids Writing 4 Kids blog is for all those children out there who love to write and want to share their creations with other children. You can write in any genre and the topics that you write about are only limited by your imagination!
Hi there! Thanks so much for inviting on your blog. What a great idea to have a blog for young writers. When I was growing up we didn't have blogs – we didn't even have computers! Can you imagine that? Yep, that was the olden days, where I rode around in a horse and cart (no, not really – we had cars by then) and everything I wrote was by hand. Sometimes I still prefer to write my stories by hand. I always carry a notebook with me because you never know when a good idea is going to come to you. My notebooks are full of ideas: things I remember from my childhood, drawings, snippets of conversations I may have heard, even cuttings from newspapers and magazines that interest me. Sometimes I might even begin a story in my notebook, then when I feel it begin to take shape, I'll begin to type it out on my computer. A notebook is a great place to practice your writing. Because, like everything, if you want to be good at something, what do you have to do? Yep, that's right – practice! Imagine if you were a runner and you turned up on race day to run your 100 metre sprint without having done any practice. You wouldn't do your best run, would you? Well, writing is just the same. The more you practice in your notebook, the more likely it is that when you do finally sit down at the computer, the ideas will flow. The more you write, the better you get at writing. Good luck! And have fun.
Best wishes,

Shark Attack
Bob was fed up. The old beach where he had worked all his life was deserted. Nothing but coral was in his sight. Suddenly he decided to move into a new home. He read his bills while laughing in excitement. After he had crossed kilometres of dry land he had finally reached Brazil. He frolicked towards the open sea. Quick as a flash he pounded into the salty ocean. He started his job immediately. Dark eyes watched him from behind. ROAR! A SHARK! A SHARK! Cried Bob. Suddenly he was pulled up by the rescue team. Bob thought he was saved from the shark. He had no idea the rescue team were here to capture all the poachers in the sea. “Send him to the dungeon,” demanded the boss. Bob was sent to the darkest part of the dungeon forever.

Lost at the Waterfall
"Stasie wake up". Stasie jumped out of her cosy bed, running up to her Dad. "What would you like me to do?". Stacie asked in excitement. "Well" said Stasie's Dad, "I want you to take this bucket with you and fill some nice water in it and then come straight back home".
Soon Stasie arrived at the waterfall. She carefully leaned over the edge and safely got some water but.... Suddently the water got too heavy to hold so she tumbled right off the edge. Splash! She landed safely in the water but she was searching for a way to get back up really quickly. Minutes later, Stasie got tired searching but all of a sudden she turned around and saw a perfect, big, beautiful cave. Stasie swam up to the safe cave and then looked for a way to climb up. In a couple of seconds she saw a ladder made of sticks and got up there and then she saw a big sign that said 'Safe Cave!'
After Stasie read it she thought "What is a safe cave?" She walked in still puzzled. And then she walked into a gigantic house. It had tables, chairs and cupboards. Just then Stasie thought "How is this a safe cave when there isn't any food?". She opened a cupboard and closed it again. Then she opened the cupboard again. Stasie was paralysed for 10 seconds, she was amazed. When she opened the cupboard again the cupboard was over flowing with food.
Soon it was nearly night. Stasie was worried she would be lost forever. But she had to have a bath by herself, so she walked out to the waterfall and rested for a while. Later on she started to get dressed and walked into the kitchen and ate some biscuits. Suddenly Stasie put the biscuit down and fell into a deep sleep.
Yuck! Stasie woke up and felt her cheeks. They were wet. She woke up thinking about what it was. Then she opened her eyes and stood up straight like a statue. She couldn't believe it was a talking frog, lizard and magpie. She couldn't believe her eyes. Stasie said in a scared way "Do you talk?" "Yes" replied the frog in a normal way. "We have come to save you" they said in harmony. "Wonderful" said Stasie and was off in a flash to get all of her belongings that she had taken with her. Soon she was ready. They started walking to the end of the water and then walked on the skinny bit of land. Later on they finally arrived at the top. Stasie lay down in relief but she didn't give up. "Yippee!" Stasie screamed as she jumped up and down about to faint because she was right in front of her beautiful house. She dashed in screaming "Mum! Dad!". Her mum and dad came running in to the hallway and gave Stasie the biggest hug she had ever got from her parents. Then they brought her back inside and then Stasie said "Wait" and ran and brought the frog, lizard and the magpie in. She said to her parents "Can I keep them?". Her parents said "Yes. But make sure next time you don't get lost".
